The two-day event was on the 2012 Science Festival in Warsaw agenda.

Two scale models of medical equipment currently under development within the AiD Project scope were presented:

  • a 1:10 scale model of the Coline 6 medical accelerator, and
  • a 1:1 scale model of the Inline PN 50 “photon needle” electronic X-ray source for brachytherapy.

Visitors could get acquainted with functionality of both devices, their advantages, the applied innovative technical solutions, and features that distinguish them among other similar products. Science Festival is a good opportunity to disseminate information on project products among broad audience of both youth/students and adults. Public awareness of the AiD project itself could also be strengthened.
