A scale model of the Coline 6 medical accelerator was made available to NCBJ Training & Education Division in October 2012. The model will be used to illustrate lectures on applications of nuclear techniques in medicine organized by Division staff for visitors.

NCBJ Training & Education Division mission is to educate high school/college students and to train employees of various Polish and foreign entities in various aspects of using nuclear technologies. The lectures include such topics as „Biological impact of ionizing radiation” and „Applications of nuclear techniques in industry and medicine”.

A 1:10 scale model of the advanced Coline 6 medical LINAC (linear electron accelerator) applied in modern radiotherapy will certainly enrich the Division educational/popularizing offer, but also will help to promote the AiD project and to disseminate recognition of its products.
